Ingredients;

Purified Water;

Only purified water, free of toxins, pollutants and microbes, can be used safely in skin care products where its main role is as a solvent or carrier to deliver active ingredients to where they will be most effective and beneficial to skin.

Sweet Almond Oil;

Is moisturising, easily absorbed and helps leave the skin soft and smooth. It is also rich in omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. It contains vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B6, Calcium. Potassium, and Magnesium which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Shea Butter;

Has significant levels of vitamins A and E, which means it promotes strong antioxidant activity. Antioxidants are important anti-aging agents which protect your skin cells from free radicals that can lead to premature aging.

Grape Seed Oil;

Rich in Vitamin E and Vitamin C, Grape Seed Oil is very nourishing and hydrating.

Rice Bran Oil;

Is rich in vitamins A and E which makes it very beneficial skin care products. It is known to improve circulation, and is great for sensitive skin.

Quandong Extract;

Quandong, also known as Native Peach is high in magnesium, vitamin C and folate. Another key quality of this super extract is that it has a presence of Rutin which is used to reduce redness and pigments like dark circles under the eye.

NASTY SOUNDING STUFF…. THAT’S NOT NASTY AT ALL!

Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol;

Is a vegetable-derived blend of cetyl and stearyl fatty alcohol that is as an emollient, emulsifier, and thickener in skincare formulations.

Ceteareth-20;

Is a fatty alcohol that is used to thicken cosmetics and keep ingredients mixed together and stable.

​

Glycerin;

Know to hydrate the outer layer of the skin, help improve skin barrier function and provide protection against skin irritants. Glycerin is great for the skin because it acts as a humectant, which is a substance that allows the skin to retain moisture. It can increase skin hydration, relieve dryness, and refresh the skin's surface. It's also an emollient, which means it can soften skin.

NOW THE SCARY SOUNDING STUFF…..

As much as we would like to have no scary sounding ingredients in our formulations, some of them require preservatives in order for them to be safe from developing nasties like mould and bacteria. We have used the most gentle, but safe ones we could find.

​

Phenoxyethanol;

Is a safe Broad Spectrum gentle preservative that it is used in low concentrations to protect formulations against bacteria, yeasts, mould and fungi. It is also one of the few preservatives that does not release formaldehyde.

 

Ethylhexylglycerin;

Derived from glycerine, it is a natural preservative and can strengthen the role of other preservatives. It is also a skin conditioner.

Essential Oil;

Lime;

Smells fresh, citrusy, sweet and slightly tart. Known to be a natural antioxidant, which can help reduce signs of aging such as fine lines, sunspots, and wrinkles. Its astringent properties help keep the skin firm, reducing sagging.

​

Patchouli;

Smells deep, earthy and woody. It is helpful for most all skin types ranging from dry, cracked skin all the way to helping to regulate oily skin and acne.
